vic and i have been very inspired by all the free time and the wonderful performances we have been seeing to dream and muse about our thesis performances (working titles 'Fight Greenbridge: The Musical' and 'House of Hegemony Presents: Hard as Diamonds',) and many other performances that we want to create (femme diva showcase, gender fucking cabaret part 2, etc etc.)
soooo we may have talked up the fact that we were performers too much while we were here. that or our incredible dancing (which was featured on slovenian national television in coverage of pride, i will have you know) was just too awesome. or possibly its that mojca is super wonderful and the kind of person who makes things happen and so she got us a venue.
its unclear, but any which way we were invited to perform at cafe open.
after much debate about what we could do and whether it would translate, we decided it was just too good/ridiculous of an opportunity to pass up.
so we will have

Dance, music, drama. Dyke drama.
The showcase will feature spoken word, choreographed dance, some high femme drag, a taste of burlesque, and some inadvertent comedy. Featuring music by Team Gina, Beyonce, and Lily Allen.
We perform tomorrow night, so we'll let you know how it goes!
